We've been promising Reese we would get her a swing set forever. The first summer we lived in this house, we spent all our attention (and money) on the inside of the house. Last year, we completely remodeled the backyard and it was done by mid-July. By then we just never got around to finding the swing set we really wanted. Adam knew that he wanted one that would last our kids for a long time, and he knew that he wanted it have a playhouse. Well, Backyard Adventures was having their April sale to get rid of all their 2008 models (they were like 50% off) so we headed there. The playset is amazing. It's not quite done yet, they were back-ordered on the parts for the monkey bars and the upper loft that goes on top of it, but the kids are grateful to have what is up so far. We are so lucky to have kids that play so well together. In the last 3 days they really have spent all day together outside, and the best part is I can just open the sliding glass door to see and hear them. The video below is minutes after the assembly people left, the kids could not wait another second.
